MAESER UPDATE

Another Maeser Update.

Gym is finally finished and we can finally go in it. So I've heard at least not completly sure.

Life is going well and I've had a little bit of a hard time getting along with a few teachers but it's getting better by the day.

I'm working on getting my grades up and I'm super excited about winter break and winterum.

In case anybody doesn't know what winterum is it's pretty much no school for a month and you get to do all these activities that focus on only ONE project. High schoolers at Maeser are the only one's that have winterum. Middle schoolers get to actually learn. HAHAHAHAHAHA

I'm doing the debate winterum and hopefully that will help me with socratic class which is what mrs. Pederson said at least.

Anyways that's the Maeser update for right now.

MAESER UPDATE

We finally moved into the new building and it's amazing!!!!!!!

I love it!

Although the lunchroom is pretty small and the other rooms are pretty big and love the classes.

I found out that the guys bball team gets to camp out at Milford High School for the night because of the blizzard.

Anyways, I love the new building and everything in it. I actually have a locker.

I always took lockers for granted and I'm really starting to appreciate having them again mainly because I had to lug around a heavy backpack, and a lunch bag around the school for 3 weeks.

My classes are literally up and down the stairs all day long

Maeser Update

Maeser is one of the best schools EVER. I LOVE IT

Update on my life there.

It's been great so far and I hope it gets better. Our new building is almost done and the inspector inspects it on Friday. Hopefully it will pass because I'm getting sick of carrying all my stuff around I want my locker back.

The new building is looking really good and suprise suprise my aunts house is right across the street. Me, my mom, and my aunt were saying that if I ever wanted to work out with her then I can just head over there afterschool and say that I'm going to the gym. Which is most likely what I would do anyways after I call her of course.

Anyways, I'm loving Maeser and an application has already been sent in for me to go there next year. Now only if I can get some F's up I'll be in good shape cause if I don't get them up. First, I can't tryout for the vball team next year which will probably make Jamie sad because I'm the best defensive player. Second, my parents wouldn't be happy because I got F's.

I came out with one F last term and that was in math so I'm trying to step up my game this term as well as the rest of the year to keep that up.

The other day my socratic class did a jury kind of thing on Helen of Troy and it was hilarious cause my class pulled popsicle sticks to see was the witnesses and all the guys ended up being girls and all the girls ended up being guys. Except for Jo. Jo was a captain.

Anyways, this month has been going well and like I said before. I hope it gets better from here.

Road to Success

K so I'm updating on what is going on this year.
I failed 2 classes this past term and I'm going to try so hard to keep my grades up this term because then I won't have to do it all at the last minute.
It's hard to be in high school but now I have to step up my game to keep my grades up!
I will keep you up to date with my life at Maeser because I'm LOVING IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great Year.....so far

This year has been great so far and I'm hoping that it will get better.
Right now I'm on the freshman/sophomore vball team and we've won at least 2 games and same with JV and varsity.
I'm now in a new school and I'm beginning to like it. If you were around when I was saying stuff like "I'm going to a new school and they wear ugly uniforms and start school earlier and get out later. I don't want to go I love Orem jr." but the uniforms aren't ugly and it's really not that bad.
I love the school and can't wait till the new building is built.
I'm starting to learn Spanish again and I'm actually getting it because it's starting to make sense because the teacher is making sense.
All in all the school year is going great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great Summer So Far

I know I haven't posted in a while but I think I should take the time to say that I LOVE SUMMER!!! Yeah I got bored by like the first week but I made it work. I just came back from girls camp this past week and I loved girls camp and wish that I could go back but I do like it at home with the warm showers and my warm bed. I love girls camp because I learn more about stuff about people that I didn't even know and I made more friends this year at camp. I love my leaders and everything they do for me and the girls in the ward and I'm so glad to have them as my leaders. I may not show alot of love to people but I do love a bunch of the girls like they're my own sisters and I'm surprised on how well I got to know the girls. I've been having a hard time lately and what I said on Friday was that I lost a lot of trust in all the girls even though they had nothing to do with it I just let myself not trust them at all. I started sitting in the corner of the room at church and I really didn't want to go to young women's unless my friend Tanya was there and then I'd have nothing to talk about to anyone if I went and Tanya wasn't there. I've decided that I'm going to be the old Megan again that was always mainly happy and not mad all the time.

My Life

I know I don't say this often but I LOVE MY LIFE!!!!!!!
I'm happy that I have a bunch of friends and family that I can talk to.
My life this year so far has been crazy, creepy, and more but there are reasons why it's been creepy.
I love all my friends especially the ones that I can talk about anything to even if it's about stuff and anybody that knows me knows that my friends and I talk about the most random stuff ever As for summer, I have a babysitting job which is really good pay for me and plus I get to spend time with a bunch of kids. Today we watched movies and colored and more. I love those kids because they are so awesome and I've known them for a long time so I know what they're like.

Yeah summer is back!!!! (schools been out for awhile but I haven't posted for a long time so sorry this is a little late)

I love Summer I think it's the best season of all.
Sometimes I think that Summer could be boring but I learned that if I find stuff to do then it's not
I haven't been posting lately because I've had some stuff going on and plus I couldn't think of what to say.
I love Summer and EVERYTHING about it because I find it fun. I just got back from trek which was fun, windy, hard, and warm all at the same time but I'm glad I got home when I did cause I heard that there was a tornado in Wyoming like the day after my stake just got home which is why I'm glad that I can home when I did.
Now I have Girls Camp to look forward to which I've loved since my 1st year there. I'm a 3rd year this year which I think is AWESOME for some reason not know why though.

Yes Summer is almost here!! SWEET!!!!
I can't wait for Summer to get here because first trek, second girl's camp, and third summer job as a babysitter.
Also I get to sleep in on most days but I think that one of these days I'm going to wake up and not know what day it is because I've done that alot before.

Yes I can't believe it
THERE'S ONE MORE MONTH OF SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't get me wrong I love school but I really want to get out of it right now.
I also can't believe that I'm going to be in the 9th grade next year I'm going to be a freshman in high school even though I'll still be at the Jr. High school but I'm still excited.
This summer I get to go on trek and girls camp which I'm kind of excited of trek but I'm really really excited for girls camp.
I can't wait to see what school is going to be like next year but I'm excited and for once I've actually liked school this year so I just wonder what it's going to be like next year.

Life

Dang it. It's time to go back to school and I don't really want to. It just means that I have to wake up early, get homework, homework, and more homework. I love school but I don't really want to go back right now but at least there's only 1 1/2 months of school left! SUMMER BREAK HERE I COME!
I have trek and girls camp over the summer but I'm still excited for them. Even if it seems like I'm not. My dad actually gets to go on the trek as the trek historian and I'm super excited and so is he, even though he's not going to be with me and my trek family the whole entire time.
I also have girls camp which I love going to every summer and can't wait for this one either cause I love going to girls camp. I get to hang with my friends and learn alot also. I LOVE GIRLS CAMP!!!!!!!!! It's my favorite time of the summer.
I hiked the Y today and my legs killed when I got home and now they don't as much anymore. I love hiking the Y mountain especially if I have one of my really good friends hiking with me. My favorite part about hiking to the Y is sitting up on the Y and looking over the city and lake. I never really realized how beautiful the lake was until I looked at the whole thing.

STUDENT COUNCIL

I'm running for the student council this year with my friend Olivia
I'm running for Student Body President and Olivia is running for Vice. I'M SO EXCITED AND SO IS SHE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I actually have a chance of winning because first I know a lot of people and are friends with almost everyone, second I've had great grades all year and third it would be fun.
I'm going to try to keep up my grades next year and hopefully keep them up all year and have a C as the lowest grade that I have next year.

School

I've begun to actually like school.
In about 3rd to 6th grade I didn't really like school cause I never got really good grades like I do now.
I'm getting A's in almost every class except for Spanish.
I like all the teachers I have and I'm actually passing math. I haven't passed math since the 5th grade so I'm really happy that I'm passing. I'm also taking drama and a bunch of my friends in my class. I'm surprised that we haven't made our drama teacher crazy yet.
I also have computers and in this class I can actually get college credit and I'm also taking a class like it next year.
I have had no tardies at all this year compared to last year. I had a ton last year. It's maybe because that we have this new tardy policy that our new principle decided to do. I actually like my principle because he's awesome. This year we have something different at the end of each term and you can only attend them if you have good grades and citizenship. We also get prizes at the end of each week if you don't have a tardy.
All in all this year has gone well so far and I hope that it always will be like that.

Grades

I can't believe that I made the honor roll again for the second time. It's a huge thing now because I'm the first child in my immediate family cause I'm the first one to make the honor roll in a while. These are my grades

These are the best grades that I've had since the fifth grade my parents are very proud

SCHOOL, DANCES, and PARTIES. What would life be like without them

Wow. It's amazes me when we have a dance and parties every once in a while.

I just had a dance at my school and it was awesome and free too.

I love having parties with my friends and going to school dances to have fun and just get away for a little while.

Today I went to the talent show at my school. It was awesome and wish that I can be in it sometime but I'm really scared to get up in front of crowds, that's why I'm taking drama class so I can get rid of my fear but I most likely won't be able to.

I can't imagine life without school, in US History I had to do a start up and the question asked

"What would school be like with no rules?"

Some the answers that our teacher Mrs. Sabey got was

Some people can do what they want to do like smoke in one room, tie teachers up in another, and more. I put that kids could text each other the answers to a test and the bullies would be beating everybody up to get what they want. So pretty much the whole school would be run by the bullies. So anyway life with no school at all to me would mean that I wouldn't have the friends I have today or let alone have any friends. I wouldn't know what happened way back when the dinosaurs roamed the earth or any of that.

I love every single one of my friends and hope to see every single one of them sometime in the near future.

Friends

It's amazing how friends keep you going

I have so many good friends in my life, especially my really good friends Megan Bennett and Shiala Steck, I feel like I can tell them anything and that they won't send it on to anybody else especailly if it's a huge secret that I don't want anybody else to know.

Anyway, friends are what always have kept me going. Telling me to follow my dreams and do what I want only if it's a good dream.

Sometimes I might be a pain but they're still my friends. Some may not be but I have lots and lots of friends. Some of my friends say that it's very rare when you see me hate someone cause I'm like friends with everybody, at least that's what my friend Ruthann said.

I love every single one of my friends I hope you all know that.

School

I love school this year. Everybody at my school says that seventh graders are the weirdest kids around. I think they are AWESOME to be around. Yeah they're inmature but this year they are really cool kids to be around. I love my new classes mainly because I have most of my friends in every single one of my classes.
I have drama this year (the class) with most of my friends in it. There's my friends Shiala, Megan B, Ariana, Whitley, Ashley, Megan A, Alexis, Malia, Bailey, Laura, pretty much alot of my friends. I think that out drama teacher is going to freak out because it's a crazy class.
I'm actually passing math and science, which have been my hardest classes since the fifth grade. I've got A's and B's and my parents are very happy.
Well that's what's going on at school with me and I hope to update my blog soon enough.

FINALLY!!!!

It's finally the end of the term. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!
NO MORE MEAN TEACHERS
I finally made the honor roll and actually getting good grades. I haven't had good grades since the fifth grade. I'm in the 8th grade. NOW I DECIDE TO GET GOOD GRADES. My parents are very proud of me that I'm the first one in my imediate family to make the honor roll. It's awesome. I made the honor roll last term now my parents are hoping that I make the honor roll every term.
I'm actually passing math, which is like a huge success for me, and english
